Course Information
This course will provide students with computer skills for those aiming to build their technology skills for employment and/or to progress on to further education/training. Study support is available.
Progression
Successful completion of the course will improve employment prospects in workplace sectors. It will also provide students with the opportunity to progress onto Technology QQI Level 4.
Entry Requirements
To ensure that you are offered a place on a course which is at the right level for you and appropriate to your learning needs all applicants are assessed prior to placement on the course.

Attendance
This course is a part-time running over one year. Individual modules can also be completed. There is an 80% class attendance requirement.
Eligibility
This course is funded under the Back to Education Initiative (BTEI). To be eligible, applicants must:
- be an early school leaver, and/or
- be in receipt of a Social Protection payment, and/or
- have a GP or Medical Card
- Signing for Credits

This course takes place in Balbriggan (major award) & Swords (component modules only).
